ShadeFX started in 2007, when Peter Westgarth, the inventor of the single track canopy system met with Steve Ostrowski, a seasoned product developer. Together they realized the advantage of the single track, and the potential to add practical functionality to pergolas. Since that time, ShadeFX has grown into a multi-million dollar international operation, designing and manufacturing canopy systems that have no equal in terms of size, performance and adaptability to the demands of a discerning clientele.
